Copyright concerns

When it comes to copyright it becomes a very important thing to address especially with students. I believe it is important to make sure you start talking about it at the youngest age you can. For students learning about copyright can help them to discover what is ok and what is not ok. Copyright can lead to huge fines, suing and jail time depending on how big it is. We want our students to be as educated as possible when it comes to things like that so it doesn’t happen to them. Back when I was in high school a girl got in huge trouble for using copyright information and it was because she had no idea what it was even at the age she was at. The age grade I plan on teaching I may not go into much detail about because they will be at a younger age and papers and essays and things of that nature usually doesn’t come into place until about the middle or high school level.  Students should be aware of copyright concerns so that when it does come about they can know whether or not what they are doing is wrong and they won’t have to be like that girl from my high school and face the consequences. Copyright can be a very consequential issue and the early taught the better the prevention is. As teachers we have to make sure our students are protected and have a bright future.
